Akilah Vogt, L.Ac.
Akilah began her acupuncture career in 2011 after completing a rigorous four-year program at the Traditional Chinese Medical College of Hawaii, earning her Master of Science in Oriental Medicine. Over the next 15 years, she honed her skills and pursued ongoing education to better serve the Southern Arizona community.
Her passion for children’s health blossomed in 2017 when she became a mother. Motivated to deepen her expertise, she completed an intensive international course in pediatric acupuncture, earning the International Certificate in Pediatric Acupuncture. Akilah is now a proud member of HOPA—the Hub of Pediatric Acupuncture—and is among a select group of acupuncturists in the United States with this specialized training, focusing her practice on children’s care.
Deeply committed to nurturing the health and resilience of children, Akilah believes that supporting kids from an early age is essential to helping them thrive and build lifelong wellness.
She is equally passionate about supporting parents through the profound and often overwhelming transition of parenthood. Drawing from both her clinical experience and personal journey, Akilah understands how many parents run on empty. Unlike previous generations, today’s parents often lack the community support that once eased the load. Now, we juggle it all—constantly giving our best, even when we’re silently craving a break. Akilah is dedicated to helping parents manage stress and reclaim their wellbeing, so they can not only show up fully for their children but also honor their own needs and self-care.
